Donated a pint of blood yesterday in uni. I don’t recall the needle being so huge.
Ian took the most unflattering photo of me from far and that’s obviously not going up on my blog. It’s just too.. Unflattering. LOL
I’m writing a post because I’m procrastinating on my assignments and a test this Friday.
Meanwhile, some updates on my life. We had a movie night party last Saturday. Ian brought his fancy 32 inch tv and we managed to get it to work with my laptop. (Panicked for a few minutes, thinking, why didn’t we checked it a day before?)
Woohoo, 32 inch tv! Much wows, slightly bigger than ours.
John brought his coffee machine and made us some extremely delicious drinks. Sadly, his ‘work space’ isn’t exactly a prestegious spot in our house, he had to kneel down to make the drinks.
It was a potluck party so everyone brought some food. Nadhirah and I made tom yum soup and vermicelli to go with.
Parents often worry about how my generation will forget traditions and Malaysian culture, really, they’re very wrong. Not in this part of the world anyway. I had the chance to go to 3 open houses this week. Woopeedoo, it feels just like home.
After the Raya open house at Amirah’s place, we missed the train by a few seconds because the ticket machine was down.. So we had to wait another 26 minutes for the next one..
Brunch with Nadhirah and Sherine. I made super plain aglio olio and potato salad. Nadhirah made scrambled eggs. Yum.
I managed to go to a gig at Whammy Bar, K’Road with Ian on Friday too. I think I’ve been out almost on a daily basis with these people now.
We watched three different bands. I only remembered two though – Caroles and Parents.
No idea how I was okay with a screamo gig.
Bihun Sup! Makes me miss Mee Soto so, so much. :C
Even their keropok lekor and bergedel was so good. They’re definitely wife-material. Unlike me, Nadhirah and Amirah…
