Yesterday, I was reading taufulou and annna’s blog post about the Ladies Night at Signature. I wished I could go!!

I’d like to meet their hunks too.  :C UPDATE: Look at these hunks yo! I pulled out a couple of photos from Signature’s Facebook page.

Oh myy! Who wouldn’t want to go to the Ladies Night now??

Look at those cocktails! These are the 5 cocktails that were available that week.. They change weekly. OMG. I definitely want to go there weekly with my girlfriends just to chill! Besides, it’s only RM25 nett per cocktail! Photo credits to taufulou

Marching into March

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Event, Photography

So, March is officially here (In Auckland anyway) and I am not prepared at all to go back to school on Monday after a 6 month break.  Well, my schedule’s awesome though, no class on Fridays! Meaning, I have a longer weekend, to do house chores. Damn. I’d prefer a Wednesday off, but I can’t be choosing now.. Can I..? Anyway, here’s a few pics from my Samsung S4 for the past week.

22nd February

Who said zebra crossings had to be limited to 1 colour? Pft.

Kids will totally dig this. Good way of educating them, of course. LOL. I’m surprised they didn’t budge at all despite the insane wind speed last Sunday.

The wind was so strong, we sorta hid in this big silo space for a little bit and explored the gallery within it.

They had cool bean bags and cushions for people to relax in and just watch landscape time lapses of various places in New Zealand. Awesome…. I was watching one with the stars moving. It was incredible!

Cool art on some on the silos.
And two men on a 2D boat.

Yes, me. What’s up?

Spot the shark. It ain’t difficult, I promise.

We played some Mario Go Kart on Nintendo Wii too. Pretty awesome.

28th February

I went to Globe Bar for the foam party and I didn’t even witness the bloody foam party. This is so depressing. But on the bright side, I had a taste of their special cocktail – Jar. I loved it. Double vodka, lemonade and some blue liquid, if I’m not mistaken. LOL. Don’t ask me what blue liquid it was. I don’t remember.

We left at 10pm and there was a HUGE group of people going in. SEE HOW DEPRESSING THIS IS?!?

Again, the funny party was, the group of people were dressed… Intentionally inappropriately. That kinda fits, I guess. Look at that guy with the bikini and fishnets. Jeez, how is that not funny??

Auckland Lantern Festival

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Event, Photography

Auckland Lantern Festival was pretty amazing. I didn’t expect it to be so packed! It felt like a mini night market to me, with all the food stalls and souvenir stalls. They even had a few game booths too. Pretty cool. I managed to catch a lion dance too, the first lion dance I saw for CNY this year. They weren’t the greatest, but they’re alright. Not many people could see the ‘story’ behind lion dance, which was kind of sad. Anyway, I had great fun last two nights at the festival.

That’s like 1/50 of the crowd.

The fish look so dead, I swear.

They had a Chinese calligraphy booth and I got the lady to write my name. Whee woo. Pointless but hey, I can’t write better than her.. So.. Let me enjoy it a lil’.

Laneway Festival 2014, Auckland

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Event, Travel

Great day to hold a festival. It was super sunny and windy. It was definitely my first music festival overseas and I absolutely enjoyed it. It wasn’t hot and humid like back in Malaysia, I didn’t get all sticky and sweaty which is the best thing in the world for me.

In all honesty, I only wanted to attend Laneway to watch Daughter. That was it. 139 NZD for Daughter and an addition of 40 bucks for their Amsterdam t-shirt. Christ, that’s expensive. But I kept thinking about how I had perks back in Malaysia, getting media passes for FMFA and etc.. This is the first music festival that I had to get my own ticket. My sister paid for me (Eternally grateful). She was the one who told me about Laneway too (Even more grateful).

So yeah, after brunch at Ortolana, I headed to Silo Park at about 1pm. I was in time for a couple of songs from The Jezabels. I should check them out soon, they sounded real good.

After that, I headed to the very-far-and-lonely stage where Youth Lagoon was playing. Not so keen on it so I walked back to the bigger stage where Jagwar Ma was playing. Pretty trippy shit they were playing. I made a mistake of standing behind.. I didn’t think Daughter would play straight away after them. There were two stages side by side, you see.. So when Jagwar Ma finished playing on the left stage, Daughter started on the right stage. Damn. I stood behind two really tall men. :C

But anyway ! I had an okay view of them and I could hear them loud and clear. So I was okay. I have some shots of them ! 😀

She is so beautiful. She was so shy too, makes me feel that she’s still human. Stage fright maybe? Or just super happy to see so many fans? I could tell that they were all happy to see us.

They started off with ‘Still’ and played a lot of songs after. The crowd went insane when they played ‘Youth’. At one point, Elena couldn’t finish the verse and we kinda just finished it for her. She was really thankful for us singing along with her. Argh, she’s so sweet and adorable. I absolutely adore her. Sadly, they didn’t play ‘Smother’.. Oh well. /:

After Daughter, I walked around and explored.. And took solo pics at Dr. Martens. ‘I stand for humanity’, do I now? I mean.. what humanity?? Jeez. I’m too human sometimes. I should have been more selfish and stand for myself. Lololol .

Here’s the awesome Amsterdam shirt ! XS for men. :C Women’s size were all sold out.

Human jam over the bridge. I swear, this is the first time I had to queue up to cross a bridge.

Til the next entry. (:

So it’s 31st of December, 2013. Shall I do the mandatory ‘Achievements of 2013’? Yeah, why not.. I’d rather call them the highlights of 2013 though.

Ate the most expensive slice of melon and orange for dessert at Kampachi.
RM75 for the melon, RM15 for the Keenakan orange.

Went to my first rave with Michelle Hor – We Love Asia 2013. That spells out Yolanda Be Cool, by the way.

Photographed one of my favourite girliest gamer friend, Chloe.

Attended Garena Carnival 2013 with my team, Mystical Angels where we hosted a showmatch against public gamers.
From left: Me, Chloe, Su Ann, Shirly and Sammy
Just a note, I’m no longer in Mystical Angels cause I’m going to study in NZ already.

Oh god, I even had a banner in the forum. Christ..

Learnt to make my own sushi during my stay at the PJ Hilton.

Went to ASOT 600. I skipped the next day’s FMFA though. 2nd rave! D: Well, come to think of it, I don’t find them as euphoric as it has been described by friends.

For Garena League of Legends Anniversary, I cosplayed as Nurse Akali as a favour. I had my best friend to accompany me.. I had quite a lot of haters on me that day. As much as people who supported me, so I was alright. I appreciate my supporters and my friends.

My favourite self shot of the month

Mum took me to Macau on the weekend before my birthday. On the job. LOL, not that I mind.

On my birthday, I had to go to school to finish up a college project. I don’t even….
