Come Celebrate Yan Yat @ Federal Hotel
Feb 21st
Come Celebrate Yan Yat with Chan Ai-Jia and Han-Jie @ Federal Hotel. I went there with my mum last night. It was a normal dinner with the yee sang, shark’s fin with crabmeat, prosperous chicken, steamed red snapper with supreme soy sauce, braised mushroom, sea cucumber with broccoli, glutinous rice in lotus leaf, sweetened sea coconut with ginseng and deep-fried mini lotus paste bun. Yum. The show was really good cause the dance crew had the most spectacular costumes.. Chan Ai-Jia was fabulous too! Her singing was really good! Han-Jie was great too! His voice was quite deep, Chan Ai-Jia’s voice was much much much higher.. Lovely. (:
I tried on a new mascara today, the Lancome Oscillating Mascara. First 2 attempts failed, don’t know why.. But this time it worked! Look how pretty the upper lashes look?
I borrowed my mum’s Indian necklace too!
It’s so pretty..
Malaysia…….. BOLEH…

Don’t you think her cheong sam is too short? ):
OMG, this was the best costumes they had!
Even the guys’ costumes looked hot!
Han-Jie keeps changing his jackets. LOL!
She look so adorable.

Richard’s Birthday
Dec 29th
On Saturday night, mum and I celebrated Richard’s birthday with his family and friends. We had dinner at My Thai, Starhill. The food was brilliant. I don’t know about real Thai food or not, but I loved it. It was leisure for me, I forgot to write down the prices of the food. I don’t even know some of their names because my mum sat quite far away from me, I couldn’t hear what they ordered.
Amanda, mum, Richard, Aunt Ginny, Aaron and me.
With Uncle George in the picture.
Meang Kam
My absolute favourite. Its a very nutty taste which is something I really like.
Apparently the green spring roll like appetizer is extremely spicy..
This grilled chicken is awesome. Juicy meat with the right amount of spices/herbs etc.
A crabby dish. I’m glad I didn’t take it.. In case my body gets some weird reaction again.
Mild green curry. YUM!
Thailand version of char kuey tiao. . Suprisingly nicer than char kuey tiao.. The noodle is sponge-i-er and tastier.
Richard’s mini birthday cake(s).
We weren’t shy to use the plates for personal usage. Haha.
Happy Birthday!
The Chan Family.
Adding Aunty Siew Fong, Sze Ping and her boyfriend
And lastly, me and mum.
The lighting was terrible okay! No blaming me.. It was the lights!
I had a real good time with you guys. Thanks so much for dinner and happy 21st birthday Richard! Enjoy your Vietnam and Cameron Highland trip!
