Anyway, we went to Giovino, Chankat Bukit Bintang for dinner. It’s a little pricey, but worth every cent! It’s a non-halal Italian restaurant. Nowadays, you can seldom find a good non-halal Italian restaurant. Giovino has a beautiful interior. Especially the upstairs. It looked like a bee-hive kind of thing.

It’s sort of reminds me of Oreo. Don’t ask why, it just does. It’s slightly sour if you don’t stir it up together. So, girls! Don’t order this if you decide to throw the cream away.

Very sweet juicy minced meat in the loveliest pastry ever.

OMG. This taste like heaven. The perfect choice for those who absolutely love cheese to bits! This is just so beautiful. The pastry is just as good! Maybe it will even change those who dislikes cheese.. And make them love them so much, they can’t stop eating cheese for the rest of their lives. (Am I scaring you?)

I love the portobello mushroom. The scallop is quite okay, but not the greatest.

How do you pronounce this? This is lovely too! Just by smelling it, your mouth would start to water. And this is just an appetizer!

Spaghetti Carbonara (RM26)

Just nice. It wasn’t too cheesy nor too creamy. It’s a lovely carbonara.

Buccatini Amatriciana (RM28)
Thick Pasta with bacon, onions in spicy herb tomato sauce
Compared to the Carbonara, this one isn’t so great. It’s tomato based, but creamy.

Pan-fried Cod Fillet (RM62)
Wrapped in bacon served with sautéed mushrooms and truffle butter sauce
Without the bacon though.. When I took this picture, my mouth literally watered. The smell of the lovely mushrooms.. The closer I got, I could smell the sweetness of the fish. I couldn’t wait to eat it! YUM!

Pork Steak (RM48)

Imagine a sirloin steak, but it’s pork, and not too raw.

Greek Bifteki (RM52)
Beef patties sealed with emmenthal and bacon
This.. is another piece of heaven. The minced beef patties were juicy! Despite the fact it was minced..

It’s meant to be slightly burnt, so don’t get worried!

This is another dessert you MUST TRY. Serious, try it. You won’t regret paying RM22!

After the fashion show, we went one level down to Serai Satay Bar to have lunch. They have this great concept of serving satay in a tall cup like container. Plus, you get to eat it in the afternoon! I seldom eat satay for lunch, and seldom see a place that serves satay during lunch hours..

Lovely. Lovely. They taste superb when it’s hot! Ooh. I’d recommend the cheese one. You’d get a total different taste. It’s cheddar cheese. Yummy.. I love this so much!

In the evening, I went to DK Court for the stupidest project ever – Civics Project. I wanted to be the latest to arrive.. Yet, I’m the earliest. *sighs

The bread taste so much better than other restaurants. Oh my goodness.. First time I actually couldn’t stop eating them! And its quite thin, it won’t make you feel full!

This dish has a taste that not many would like.. If I had more than 2 spoons I might feel sick. Honest.

The pasta taste like a smoother version of wanton mee. The scallop.. Oh my, what a great taste. Really! The biggest, tastiest piece of scallop!

Lightly smoked muscovy duck with foie gras and Kabu
Foie gras! Have you ever tasted it? It’s fabulous! The duck is just as great. It’s not the ordinary cooked duck. This one is lightly smoked… Half raw. Something like that. (:

Steven. He’s so cute.. He is a malay guy. Totally malay. Yet he is called Steven. A.k.a. Nor Azlan. LOL.

Etuvee of Red Star Garoupa with King Prawn, Nantua Sauce
This was just so so. I dislike seafood.. But the prawn was good. The fish was fresh too.

Slow Cooked Venison with Red Wine Reduction
This was the best dish I had. Although I’m eating almost raw meat.. It taste good. Really really good.

High Class Kuih Bahulu
I’m not kidding. It taste a hundred times better than the normal ones. I dislike kuih bahulu, yet I ate 2 of these.

Feuillantine of Mascarpone with Ice Cream and Espresso Tuile
The black jelly isn’t the cincau you eat. It is coffee jelly! (Damn good. Like the Kopi sweet in jelly form)

Oh by the way, my dinner costs RM265 (per person) excluding drinks.

I was at Starhill on Saturday morning right after my tuition. We three, mum, Victor and me were heading to Lecka Lecka near StarHill Gallery

Lecka Lecka means lick, lick. LOL

It is an outdoor bar and restaurant. There are a total of 10 outlets around here but only this one.. Only this ONE, is a restaurant.

Pretty place isn’t it? Sadly they can’t do business when it rains.

The guy gave us one spoon of each gelato and sorbets. (Adding all up together, it’s like a cup of gelato already. O_O Too full!)
They also had this gelato called Danger. Guess what flavour? CHILLI. Cool right? You should taste it. It’s quite nice.
