Experiencing the Shanghai Brunch was extraordinary especially when you have great company. The ambiance was lovely! Waiters and waitresses were dressed in gorgeous crimson red traditional clothing accompanied by good live music .. The food was so, so .. I’m not exactly a big fan of buffets . You would always want to take some more, even though you’re full ! ): Anyway, best part is that I could have free flow of champagne throughout the whole brunch . Lovely, isn’t it ?
It’s only RM268++ for the Shanghai Brunch with free-flow champagne and other beverages and RM168++ for only the food .
Fantastic old school music from them .
This guy made some awesome crepes ! There were 2 kinds, the one he liked and recommended to me was the crepe with spinach and marscapone cheese . Oh my goodness, it’s heavenly . I went back for a 2nd helping !
They have a beautiful selection on cheese too . Can you spot the Blue Cheese ? *satisfied face*
I took this at 12pm .. And by 3pm, it’s gone . I’m not kidding ._. GONE !
As usual, I took lil’ bit of everything . Can you see the crepe in front of the sushi ? Ohh , and the zucchini and mushrooms at the back .
Meet Mr. Mime . He goes round to tables performing balloon art. Go ahead, and tell him what you’d like him to make ! He made me a Mickey Mouse with an extra long tail ! Pics at the bottom ! (:
My main course – Beef Medallion !
Here’s my lil’ white Mickey mouse wearing a flower, posing with my champagne glass . Cute eh ?
Mummy dearest, me and Aunt Elizabeth Sue posing with a pretty waitress.
How lovely, they even gave us a momento to keep !
Just for amusement purposes only ._.
Mr. Mime does crazy balloon jobs too .. Like that umbrella hat you see in the photograph above .
Hi, I’m back with a food review. Sort of, I find my posts more like a laundry list instead. Today’s about Saisaki , the sister restaurant of both Shoguns in One Utama and Sunway Pyramid . One thing about Saisaki, they put really funny/weird/out of this world names for their food. Out of this world as in, okay. I don’t even know how to explain . Examples are like , they named their cincau dessert – Taste and Feel. They named one of their dishes, Taste Until Laugh . And you get the picture… Right? (:
Yum yum.. The amazing selection of makis.
Apparently, the Japanese love yam .. This maki has yam instead of rice.
Each type of maki are so unique. Amazing, how they designed them .
I was greeddyyy, took a plate of different makis. My real intention was to photograph them actually. ;P
The woman on the right pan fries the meat for you. While, on the left, is the ice kacang . LOL
Their sashimi selection’s the best part. Their salmon, OH MY GOD . YOU MUST HAVE THEM!
Prawn Snake Skin
Tofu Fish Cheese Yaki (Honest, I couldn’t taste any cheese.)
Unit No1-9, 1st Floor, Wisma UOA II
No. 21, Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.
I gotta say, for the first day, they aren’t too bad.. But honestly, I find the people here are very different (and its only Ampang!). Bad thing is that they don’t attend to your needs. Anyway, besides the service, the best part is that you get to use their paddle boat, canoe and swimming pool for free.
From next week onwards, the BBQ will start at 4pm till 10pm and the facilities are available from 4pm till 7pm. Mondays till Fridays are also open for the BBQ Fest from 6.30pm till 10pm.

Another choice besides the BBQ Fest would be the Buffet Hi-Tea @ Sultani Restaurant.Open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12 noon till 4pm
Adult – RM38
Child – RM25
Casual table setting
3 Bugee to transport you to the BBQ area if you do not wish to walk under the blazing sun.
They have quite a number of selections for salad. Really.. They also have mash potato! I ate it without the sauce though, as the sauce hasn’t arrive yet but it still taste good. (I’m odd .. I know)
Choose your meat and grill!
The chefs are so cute. They wear cute rainbow coloured aprons just to make us smile wider. (:
They have 3 BBQ pits. One hot plate and 2 grills.
Perfect for family bonding time! (:
The same cake but in different forms..
Including this one. Ohhhh. So much cream.
Paddle Boat Ride.
I find it too hot to do paddle boating. Thank god they are changing their BBQ Fest time to 4pm to 10pm.
The Sultani Restaurant that serves Moghul cuisine.
The weird part is, the interior looks very North Indian with Malay decor. Oddest part, they have tables like the Chinese round tables with the spinning table in the middle.
They have rojak!
Fish and chips
Tandoori as well.
A really bad accident @ Lebuhraya DUKE. Lucky it’s a tiny jam.

To be very honest, I hate being at launches. It’s like a place where you can’t act natural, can’t be at your best, can’t have proper conversations and the list goes on.. There were so many paparazzi too! The song by Lady Gaga just went on in my head when I see them ordering the chefs and telling them how to pose. Anyway, they had a group of portugeese performers to sing and dance for us. Really lively people. After speeches and all that, we left our tables to get our food! Before I get on with the food, I want to show you a few pictures of my friends. Teehee.
Cindy bought a new pretty pencil box.
Did I mention I had tons of her photos in my comp? Well, I just did. I think my comp has more photos of her than photos of me. Really!!! Anyway, I like this picture a lot.
James and Cindy
James, your hair don’t look weird..
Let’s get on with the food pictures, shall we?
