Spanish Fusion @ Cafe Chulo, Jaya One
Apr 10th
This restaurant and bar is 3 stories high. The first floor would be an lift-like floor take has a flight of steps that takes you to the second floor. The second floor would be the main area with a gorgeous bar and many couches. In the restaurant, it has a slight dark and cooling ambiance with 2 plasma televisions. The 3rd floor would be the roof lounge for a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a little drinking and some smoking. Overall, the atmosphere, service and food.. I give a 8/10. (:

Inside the restaurant. Without my camera flash, it would be so much darker..
The roof top.
Bar man making a Sangria.
Sangria (RM20)
Fruit Punch
Crouquettes Balls (RM12)
Deep fried croquettes with chicken, mushroom, onions stuffing served with tomato salsa sauce
Chulo’s Thin Crust Lamb Pizza (RM13)
The ordinary tomato-based pizza, with lamb, mozarella cheese and onions. Done wonderfully.
Seafood Paella (S: RM20, B: RM35)
Yummy, with an Asian taste.
Salmon Bruschetta (RM15)
Bruschetta bread with tomatioes and smoked salmon.
Although hard to eat ( since everything would just fall off), but worth the mess. It was really good, with the finest smoked salmon.
Banderillos (RM18)
Grilled skewers with 3 choices of meat – Chicken, lamb and prawn, or 3 each.
The best choice would be the chicken breast meat. Don’t judge it just yet, try it out and see if I’m right. The marinations just hits the spots. (:
Lamb and Chicken.
Potato Gratin (RM13)
Spanish stly potatoes gratin with lots of mozarella cheese and little cream.
Tiramisu (RM15)
The BOMB. First bite made me want to float to heaven. Second bite made me fly back to Earth just to get the third and the fourth bite.
The owner, Keith Raymond.
