So you’re shopping at One Utama from 2pm and it’s 7pm now . 5 hours of air cond and all you hope for now is a nice hot plate of food . That’s what Petite Millie wants to achieve – to serve you a nice hot plate of fulfilling dinner .

You’re seated down and given the menus – 2 simple A3 sized menus . Big, simple, and complete with details . You’re thinking, ‘okay , why not we get some recommendations here’, and the waiter gives you some opinions .. And decisions on dinner is made . While waiting, you notice a black squared box on the floor, intended for your shopping bags and ladies’ handbags . Ain’t that somethin’ ? That’s every girls’ dream ! To actually have a special place to put your things , no need of the unneccesary luggage on your lap .

Okay, done with the story telling .. Let’s go on with the food, shall we ?

Beef Carpaccio
This was one of their specials of the week . It’s different every week , so be sure to come back to have a taste of the chef’s creativity with food !

Well , for the Iberian Beef Cecina , the air dried beef loin was a little on the dry side, but I definitely love the capsicum concassé .
The La Petute Moderne on the other hand , the texture of the chicken was almost like eating tuna , but chicken form . Really ! Quite interesting, especially with avocado on top and caramelized onions below it .

Poutine Cheek (RM26)
French fries with braised beef cheek (6 hours of braising!!)  with truffle oil , and cheese on top .
This is a very filling bowl of fries . It can be a dinner meal for anyone to be honest, or shared among a table of 2 or 4 .. But trust me, it’s very filling, it’s so delicious , the beef cheeks just melts into your mouth .

Emilia’s Tagliatelle al Duck Ragu (RM28.50)
The roast duck was fantastic , but the duck cooked with the pasta was a little dry . Other than that, this is a very interesting dish . Quite unusual and worth trying out .

Overall , Petite Millie is worth a go , especially for those who haven’t been to fine dining, this would be a nice introduction to fine dining and French food .

Yum yum..  The amazing selection of makis.

Apparently, the Japanese love yam .. This maki has yam instead of rice.

Each type of maki are so unique. Amazing, how they designed them .

I was greeddyyy, took a plate of different makis. My real intention was to photograph them actually. ;P

The woman on the right pan fries the meat for you. While, on the left, is the ice kacang . LOL

Their sashimi selection’s the best part. Their salmon, OH MY GOD . YOU MUST HAVE THEM!

For someone like me, who hates brinjal (Yes, seriously), this is actually good. Like, REALLY good. Not much of the mushy, slimy gross taste of the brinjal either!

Mango Chicken (Regular: RM20 , Large: RM30)
It tasted and looked like fish. And soaking it in the sauce makes it pretty spicy. Be careful there.

Crispy Skinned Salmon (RM35)
Served with potato cakes, sautéed asparagus spears and crisp bread with roasted capsicum dip.

Nasi Kerabu (RM20)
Rice served with ayam percik, salted egg, ulam, solok lada and keropok ikan.
They use the real morning glory flowers to colour the rice too!

Sang Har Yin Yong (RM19)
Kuey teow and crispy mee hoon served in egg broth, complemented with fresh water prawns and vegetables.

Steamed fish in lime sauce (Market Price)
This is really really good. Although, it’s really spicy due to the chilli. It’s a very Thai dish. Sour and Spicy.

Banana Crepe (RM15.90) with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and strawberries. Big and fat!

Crumbed Scallops (RM18.90 for 7 pieces)
Fresh juicy sweet breaded pan fried scallops  accompanied with mayo.

Smoked Salmon Bruschetta (RM21 for 6 pieces)
Topped with capers pesto, some pine nuts and a lil lemon. It’s so refreshing and opens your appetite hell a lot!

Sauteed Mushroom Bruschetta (RM16.90 for 6 pieces)
Lovely button and oyster mushrooms, sprinkled with some parmesan and herbs.

Vin’s Chicken Nachos (RM26.90)
Shredded chicken topped with crisp nachos, salsa and cheese. Yummy.

Chicken Tikki Masala (RM18)
In between of the Indian style and the English.

Mediterranean Seafood Pasta (RM27)
Calamari, prawns. Peppers, chili flakes with a hint of white wine. It’s a simple spicy pasta with a great taste.

Spicy Tuna Pizza (RM27)
One of the best selling items. Every bite gives you full satisfaction.

Spicy Lamb Bolognaise (RM26.90)
Spicy bolognaise sauce with minced lamb, fresh herbs and shitake mushrooms. Ooh, I forgot to mention that THEIR PORTIONS ARE RELATIVELY HUGE.
