Cinnamon Cafe, One World Hotel for their fabulous tender roast lamb !
I was there photographing everything else because I saw a crowd at the roast lamb stall . Walked around to take other photographs and poof! 10 minutes late to photograph the roast lamb, and oh my goodness, it’s already gone. Finished by the in house guests!

Petite Millie, One Utama

So you’re shopping at One Utama from 2pm and it’s 7pm now . 5 hours of air cond and all you hope for now is a nice hot plate of food . That’s what Petite Millie wants to achieve – to serve you a nice hot plate of fulfilling dinner .
You’re seated down and given the menus – 2 simple A3 sized menus . Big, simple, and complete with details . You’re thinking, ‘okay , why not we get some recommendations here’, and the waiter gives you some opinions .. And decisions on dinner is made . While waiting, you notice a black squared box on the floor, intended for your shopping bags and ladies’ handbags . Ain’t that somethin’ ? That’s every girls’ dream ! To actually have a special place to put your things , no need of the unneccesary luggage on your lap .
Okay, done with the story telling .. Let’s go on with the food, shall we ?

Beef Carpaccio
This was one of their specials of the week . It’s different every week , so be sure to come back to have a taste of the chef’s creativity with food !

Iberian Beer Cecina (RM19.50) (right) La Petute Moderne (RM16.50) (left)
Well , for the Iberian Beef Cecina , the air dried beef loin was a little on the dry side, but I definitely love the capsicum concassé .
The La Petute Moderne on the other hand , the texture of the chicken was almost like eating tuna , but chicken form . Really ! Quite interesting, especially with avocado on top and caramelized onions below it .

Poutine Cheek (RM26)
French fries with braised beef cheek (6 hours of braising!!)  with truffle oil , and cheese on top .
This is a very filling bowl of fries . It can be a dinner meal for anyone to be honest, or shared among a table of 2 or 4 .. But trust me, it’s very filling, it’s so delicious , the beef cheeks just melts into your mouth .

Emilia’s Tagliatelle al Duck Ragu (RM28.50)
The roast duck was fantastic , but the duck cooked with the pasta was a little dry . Other than that, this is a very interesting dish . Quite unusual and worth trying out .

Overall , Petite Millie is worth a go , especially for those who haven’t been to fine dining, this would be a nice introduction to fine dining and French food .

Seoul Good Promotion, One World Hotel

HELLO! It’s a fly day and I didn’t go to school. (youdidn’tneedtoknowthat, butohwell.) Anyway, I had dinner at Cinnamon, One World Hotel today, with my lovely mum. They’re having a Seoul Good Promotion aka KOREAN FOOD, BABEH! It’s part of a buffet, so everyone could have what they feel like having. Especially with big families.. You know, the grandparents want authentic traditional food, parents want classy food, kids want junkie food.. Etc. And, you get to taste the Korean food! This is a short and simple post, but hope its worth it. :D

I saw it before I went into Cinnamon, and ate dinner.. And I saw it again after dinner. I’d like to think it’s been there for the whole night. :D It seems more magical. Haha.

P1240105

They played the drums and all. It was loud, but it was good. :D Full of energy.

Happy Belated Birthday

Last Saturday night, we had a little gathering at One World Hotel. Buffet dinner hosted by Christopher Goh. (: Happy Belated Birthday.
Food wasn’t exactly great there.. But not bad. We had a great time though. Why? Because we took lots of photos and shared so much laughter. :D

P7121369Went to One Utama this morning to walk around. They had a Sony exhibition/contest/fashion show there.
Sony alpha 900 costs RM9,999. .__. But it’s 24.6 mega pixels. Can’t blame the price. Hehh.
Ate at Tokyo G which was previously known as Sushi Groove. Food here isn’t that bad. But I still prefer Sakae Sushi. :D
