My family and I went over to banh mi for some Vietnamese baguette sandwiches for dinner few days ago. Quick Fact : Banh mi means Vietnamese sandwich.

Ooh, I love pate! Here, they serve pork pate! 😀

Vietnamese Milk Coffee (RM4)
The finest authentic Vietnamese coffee. Smells so good, tastes even better, you’d regret if you didn’t order it.

Old School (RM8.20)
Vietnamese baguette with pork pate, homemade mayo, ham, pickled radish and carrots, chili, cilantro and lemon grass chicken.
Crispy baguette with the most delicious pork pate ever. I like how the sandwich was refreshing after every bite. It’s not boring because of the pickled radish and carrots and especially the cilantro. There was a lot of pate in it (The grey-ish thing), but it wasn’t too rich because of the other refreshing ingredients.

O.M.G (RM11.20)
Apparently they only make 30 of these a day (Written on their menu)
For those with a bigger stomach, this one is for you! It’s exactly like Old School sandwich with two extra Sunny side ups. Delicious .

O Rolly (RM7)
Fried Vietnamese Spring Rolls. Minced pork, mushroom, shredded carrots and mung bean noodles wrapped with rice paper.

O Susu (RM3.50)
Dip your fresh baguette with condensed milk! They said they might be importing condensed milk from Vietnam. Yay! Since condensed milk here is made purely from palm oil, getting real condensed milk would be great.

Sữa Chua Yaourt with a drip of Vietnamese coffee (Vietnamese Yogurt)
My family and I were just chatting after the meal and we saw this transparent cups with white liquid in it. We were thinking it was the condensed milk.. Or the creamer. We were all just too curious, mum just had to ask them what that was when one of their staff asked us about our meal. He explained to us it was Vietnamese yogurt that they are still in the process of refining. He asked us if we wanted to test it out, and yeah, why not right?
My mum and brother liked the yogurt with the coffee, I preferred the au natural. It’s not as thick as the normal yogurt and it is slightly slimy. It’s different from normal yogurt as it is sweeter (With no sugar of course, they use condensed milk).

Fresh Shrimps Or Crabmeat Cocktail (RM12.90)
Garnished with our special concotion of cocktail sauce

Baked Fresh Premium Scallops (Half Dozen: RM28.90)
Scallops baked with white wine bechamel sauce and cheese
These are so good . The scallops are just divine . Big fresh scallops drowned in creamy bechamel sauce and CHEESE ! If I didn’t use a spoon to lift the scallop up, you can’t even see the scallops . That’s how much sauce there is . If you kept your bread, you could even use the leftover sauce to spread on your bread.

Escargots Bourguinonne (1 Dozen: RM28.90, 1/2 Dozen: RM16.90)
French Snails baked in chablis garlic sauce
The escargots are relatively easy to dig out , some just fall right out, which is good .

Oh yeah, Chloe came along with us for the food review . That’s her first escargot, her first time trying ! 😀

The Ship’s Salad (RM13.90)
Freshly selected lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber sticks, dressed with turkey ham, boiled egg and croutons, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
I don’t really fancy thousand island sauce, so I opted for the French dressing instead . The croutons were a little too big for my liking though .

Roasted Rack of Lamb (RM42.90)
Lamb rib topped with kebab sauce served with broccoli florets, corn on cob and baked potato

Charbroiled Rib Eye Steak (RM54.90)
A tender and succelent steak served with prime vegetables, corn on cob, baked potato and a bowl of salad
The praised signature main course . It’s tender, juicy and each bite just hits you. That oomph !

The Ship is always full . So do remember to reserve a table if you do not enjoy waiting in line . By 6.30, the place is packed . But remember!! On the eve of festive days or special occassions, they don’t take reservations.
